Hurt Reynolds Roller Derby Tour
|
You can't be an official, hardcore, suicide
seat-sittin' fan without a bullseye on your chest!
You're all crazy! I know, because I've been hit!
And I thought I might be the hardest working
man in roller derby. Production guru Hurt
Reynolds has been on the road for six months
watching derby and teaching production.
Flyin' Squirrel coming to an event, or league, near you!

I started Flyin' Squirrel to give back to the sport
which has given so much to me. I don't think I could
accentuate this any more than by saying that Flyin'
Squirrel sponsored the 2007 Dust Devil and
currently is committed to sponsoring Roller Con,
Flyin' Squirrel appeals to all who love derby, and
nobody's love is greater than skaters themselves.
You don't want to make a rollergirl angry! Trust
me, I know. It's been fun creating merchandise
especially for them. Flyin' Squirrel didn't just
make one shirt for all three positions, we've come
up with gear for jammers, blockers and pivots!
The pivot controls pack speed and directs
blockers. She has to be physical, and play smart.
This shirt helps the rest of us remember that!

B.A.D. Girls lose their venue
|
This is every leagues' nightmare. I love the
Bay Area Derby Girls, have announced for
them at two of three major tournaments
they've participated in, and it hurts to know
something of this magnitude has happened.
Worse yet, it comes just as their 2007
season had started. Let's see what the
national derby family can do to lend a hand.
Flyin' Squirrel understands roller derby fans,
because all contributors to the company are avid
fans themselves. So, after you own your favorite
league's or team's t-shirt, Flyin' Squirrel tries to
fill the gap with some high-quality merchandise
that's fun and reasonable.
Tickets for the Nationals are on sale!
Many new styles and more on the way!

before I had a single on-line order. Neck surgery gave
me six months to think. I decided not to go back to
office life and poured myself and my assets into what
I wanted to do - work with and support roller derby. It
was a big risk, as I have a family, but the outpouring
of support from the derby community has been
overwhelming. I foresee this as an opportunity to live
the dream and give back to the sport I love.
For those of you who have
patiently followed this venture,
you have noticed that not only
has the number of shirts grown,
but so has the varied styles you
can get them in. I will continue
to search for styles that people
want at the quality I insist on.
Many of those who received
shirts at promotional events - I
give them away everywhere I
go - liked the shirt designs but
wished it came in different
options. I listened! Now, most
shirts are available in about
three styles.
Flyin' Squirrel will be selling at these events!

I'm on the road a lot announcing or promoting Flyin'
Squirrel. However I don't really show up prepared
to sell. Well, that's about to change! Sponsorship of
Roller Con and the Heartland Havoc includes
selling space...so stop by the Flyin' Squirrel table,
say hello, and pick out something unique to wear
back home. Nationals? The rodent is working on
it!
